Note:
- Always turn OFF the radio while charging the battery pack. If the radio is turned
ON, the charging process will not be successful.
 Battery pack storage:
1. The battery pack should be stored with a 50% - 100% charge.
2. It should be stored in a cool, dry environment and removed from the radio.
3. Keep it away from any heat source and direct sunlight.
Notes:
- Do not install or remove the battery pack in environments with risk of fire or
explosion, a spark can cause an explosion.
- Do not expose the battery pack to high temperatures and keep it away from fire,
it may cause an explosion.
- The battery discharges faster when it is installed in the radio. Always remove it
from the radio when you are not using it for a while.
- Do not keep the battery pack next to metal objects.

7.- INSTALL / REMOVE THE BATTERY PACK:

Install the battery pack in the radio without forcing and into correct position and remove it
carefully so as not to damage it.

8.- INSTALL / REMOVE THE ANTENNA:

Method for equipment with removable antenna:
Holding the antenna by its base, place it into connector and fix it properly. Remove the
antenna from the radio, always holding it by its base.
Note:
- In PMR-446 or dPMR-446 equipment the antenna is integrated. Attempting to
remove it may damage the antenna and the radio.

9.- INSTALL / REMOVE THE BELT CLIP:

If the radio supplied with belt clip, attach it to the back of the radio and make sure it is
properly attached. Remove the belt clip carefully for not damage it.

10.- INSTALL THE MICRO-HEADSET (OPTIONAL):

Connect a micro-headset to the jack on the radio intended for this purpose.
