Menu 32: Reset function --- RESET:
Function: Select the reset option.
Options: VFO/ALL.
Default: ALL.
VFO: Resets all functional settings to factory default values.
ALL: Resets all off the radio´s functional settings and channel parameters to factory
values.
Menu 33: ANI ID transmitting switch --- ANI-TX:
Function: Select transmitting ANI-ID code.
Options: OFF/ON.
Default: ON.
15.- DETAILED INSTRUCTION FOR PARTS OF FUNCTIONS:
15.1.- CHANNEL MEMORY:
When the radio is in channel mode (MR), the parameters will be copied to the channel.
When the radio is in frequency mode (MR), you can program all the parameters
(Frequency, offset, offset direction, etc.) into the channel to memorize.
Example:
Memorize the parameters: Receiving frequency is 430.025 MHz, receiving CTCSS is 67.0
Hz, and transmission frequency is 440.025 MHz into the channel NO. 10.
1) In frequency mode input 430.025 MHz, press [MENU] + 10 to access receiving
CTCSS setting, select 67.0 Hz, press [MENU] to confirm.
2) Press [MENU] + 24 to set the offset frequency are 10.000 MHz.
3) Press [MENU] + 23 to set the offset direction as positive (+).
4) Press [MENU] + 25 to access channel memory, select CH-010 and press the
[MENU] key to memorize.
>> When it access to the channel menu, the current selected channel is with
parameters, the current display shows CH-10. When the selected channel is no
programmed parameters, the display shows 010.
15.2.- DTMF ENCODING:
[MENU], [▲], [▼], [EXIT] are respectively corresponding to A, B, C, D at DTMF encoding
setting.
Follow the below procedure to send the DTMF tones manually:
1) Press and hold [PTT] to transmit.
2) At the same time, press the number keys to send out the DTMF tone.
Note:
- This radio will monitor the transmission of corresponding DTMF tone.
