13.3.- SELECT THE OPERATING MODE:

Full key model: In standby, press [MENU] + [*SCAN] to switch between channel/frequency
working mode.
4 keys model: In standby, press [MENU] + [TOP] to switch between channel/frequency
working modes.

13.4.- KEYPAD LOCK:

Full key model: In standby, press and hold the [#LOCK] key for more than 2 seconds to
manually lock all keys, press and hold the [#LOCK] key to unlock the keypad.
4 keys model: In standby, press and hold the [EXIT] key for more than 2 seconds to
manually lock all keys, press and hold the [EXIT] key to unlock the keypad.

13.5.- [*SCAN] KEY:

Short press [*SCAN] key to enable/disable the frequency function, press and hold for 2
seconds to enable the scan function.
Note:
- In channel mode, menu 01, 05, 09, 10, 11, 12, 16, 21, 23, 24, 28 can´t be operated.
It should operate in frequency mode or with the programming software.

14.- DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTIONS:

Menu 0: Squelch level --- SQL:
Function: Setting squelch level.
Options: 0-9.
Default: 5.
Menu 1: Step frequency --- STEP:
Function: Setting VFO adjust step value.
Options: 2.5K/5K/6.25K/10K/12.5K/25K/50K.
Default: 2.5 kHz.
Menu 2: Transmitting power selection --- TXP:
Function: Select the transmit output power.
Options: HIGH/LOW.
Default: HIGH.
Notes:
- Press side key [PF1] to quick switch the output power.
- In channel mode, the power can be only switch temporarily, and it doesn´t
memorized.
