Instructions for use rotary field tester
Many thanks for selecting this rotary field tester TV 410N.
- The rotary field tester for certain identification of the direction of rotation of electric machinery,
motors, pumps etc.
- Safeguards against costs of failure and repairs.
- No batteries or outside power supply required.
- Works in perfect safety with insulated connections.
- Serves to establish the direction of rotation and indicates the three phases with glow-lamps wherever
three-phase current is used.
- A simple test with the three measuring prongs avoids the potentially high costs of failure of machinery,
motors, pumps and systems.
- The insulated connecting bushes guarantee working safety and reduce the risk of accidents. The
connection of insulated measuring leads makes an equal contribution to safety.
- To operate the rotary field tester, no battery or other source of power is needed. The tester draws its own
operating voltage from the object under test.
Working instructions
Connect the measuring leads to the object to be measured as shown by the markings on the tester. When
all three phases are present, the glow-lamps L1, L2 and L3 light up.
Direction of rotation is shown by the R- and L-glow lamps. If a left-hand field is indicated, change over
two of the phase leads. If one of the phases is not present, the corresponding glow-lamp remains dark,
while the R- and L-glow lamps both light up. If two phases are missing, there is no indication.
