Precautions for use

Systematically run a SELF-TEST before
using your multimeter.
This multimeter may be used in category III
installations with voltages that are always less
than 600V compared to ground.
CAT III circuits are power supply circuits
that can support major transient overvoltage.
Example : industrial unit or machine power
supply.
Never open the multimeter battery
compartment cover without first disconnecting
it form any source of electricity.
Never touch the metal part of the contact
tips during a test.
Never perform a continuity test on a live
circuit. However, in the event of a wrong
maneuver, the multimeter offers protection
up to 600V.
