7. PHASE ROTATION

Always run a self-test before using your
multimeter.
Never use it if the self-test is incorrect.
Check for phase presence on the three
phases to be tested for three phase system.
Phase Rotation Test:
Bring the red contact tip of the to the first
phase and the black tip to second phase.
Press the phase rotation button.
Result:
If the phase rotation order is direct, LED L1
to L2 lights up.
If the phase rotation order is indirect,
LED L1 to L3 lights up.
NB : The voltage detection is still active during
this test.
