2. DESCRIPTION

1. Disconnectable test points: ∅ 2mm
2. Tolerance
The antislide tolerance on the entire perimeter of
the device protects the user from any accidental
contact with an uninsulated conductor.
3. Selftest pushbutton / Continuity test –
Resistance measurement.

5. Phase rotation LED (green): clockwise
6. Phase rotation LED (red): counter-clockwise /
Voltage detection during resistance measurement
(Volt-test)

Description of display :
3. AUTOTEST
Always run a self-test before using your
multimeter.
Never use it if the self-test is wrong.
AUTOTEST
The self-test is a way of checking the
performance of the battery and the cords.
Implementation:
Connect the cords.
Bring the red contact tip of the device into
contact with that of the black cord.
Press the self test pushbutton.
Result :
The display and the backlighting come on,
the display read a value below 0.002 kΩ :
the self test is correct.
The "battery" symbol is displayed temporarily:
the self test is correct. If the battery symbol
remains lighted for more than 5 s, the battery
will need replacing.
