If there are problems with operation, immediately turn off the machine and unplug it from the socket-outlet.
Problems
coffee overflowing
from the edges of the
pod holder.
Steam overflowing
from the edges of the
pod holder.
the coffee is not
supplied or flows too
slowly.
the coffee is too
watery and cold.

Causes
Some coffee residue is still on
the gasket up against the pod
holder seat, keeping it from
closing completely.
Faulty pod.
The pod holder holes are
clogged.
You are trying to dispense the
coffee with the steam function
on. Check that the steam
function button has not been
unintentionally pressed.
The water or coffee dispensing
lines may be clogged.
The tanks is not inserted well.
There is little water and the pump
does not suck it up.
Faulty pod.
Broken pod.
The pod holder holes are
clogged.
The machine is not ready.
solutions
Stop dispensing and turn off the appliance. Clean the
gasket again with a sponge (Fig. 12).
Replace the pod.
Stop dispensing and turn off the appliance. Clean the
clogged filter hole with a small brush (Fig. 13).
Stop the coffee delivery. Press the button (N) to cut out
the steam function. Wait for the lamp (R) to turn on before
making another cup of coffee.
Stop dispensing and turn off the appliance. Open the lid
and remove the pod. Turn on the machine without the pod,
making the water run. If the water still does not come out
evenly, carry out the decalcification cleaning procedure
using the Ariete NOCAL product found at Ariete service
centres, following the instructions given in the paragraph
"Decalcification".
Fit the tank securely by pushing it as far as it will go.
Check that the water level in the tank is correct. If
necessary, fill it with cool tap water.
Replace the pod.
Stop dispensing and turn off the appliance. Open the pod
holder, clean the seat with a sponge, and put a new pod
inside.
Stop dispensing and turn off the appliance. Clean the
clogged filter hole with a small brush (Fig. 13).
Wait for the temperature to be reached, indicated by the
lamp (R) turning on.
