Description
Using the radio module, an infinite number of
ABB Home Smoke Detectors (type RM/A...)*
can be networked together wirelessly. If an
alarm in a Home Smoke Detector is triggered,
all the networked smoke alarms will also be
triggered. The signals "Fault" and "Battery
change" are also forwarded to all the net-
worked Home Smoke Detectors.
In order to increase the range of the radio
transmission, the repeater function in the ra-
dio module can be activated using a slide
switch. Radio modules with an activated re-
peater function repeat all incoming signals and
so can even be linked to home smoke alarms
where no direct communication is possible.
The signals are forwarded with a repetition
delay of max. 15 s. In order to maintain the
