C.A 1623 RTD probe temperature calibrator

3 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

3.1

RTD PROBE MEASUREMENT:

1. Press key 5 to power up the calibrator.
2. Press key 8 to be in input mode.
3. Press the Type of RTD probe key to select the desired type of measurement.
4. Connect the RTD or Resistor to the input terminal.
5. If you want to measure in 3-wire / 4-wire mode, press the Select number of
wires key (9, 10), then connect the wire to the corresponding input terminal.
6. Read the value on the display (16).
3.2

RTD SIMULATION :

1. Press key 5 to power up the calibrator.
2. Press key 8 to be in output mode.
3. Press key 6 to select the desired type of
measurement.
4. Press keys 9, 10, 11 and 12 to define the
desired value.
5. Connect the RTD probe or the ohmmeter
to the input terminal.
6. If you want an output in 3-wire/4-wire
mode, connect the other wire to the 2-wire
jack as shown in the image to the left;
7. If you want to change the output value or
type of RTD, use RTD mode key 6 and
press key 9, 10, 11, or 12.
