Follow suggested routine maintenance of microphone covers for the T-Mic 2 and processor microphone.

The Naída CI Q70 recipient kit includes a drying system; it is recommended that all
•
components (UHP, cable, and sound processor) run through one drying cycle (8 hrs.)
overnight on a nightly basis.
PowerCel™ batteries should also be regularly placed in the drying system when not being
•
charged, particularly if exposed to moisture or perspiration.
Batteries should not be loosely carried in pockets or handbags as this may cause debris to
•
accumulate on the connector. Instead, the carrying case included in the Naída CI Q70 kit
can be used for transporting batteries. If the case is not available, it is recommended that the
PowerCel batteries be sealed in a small plastic Ziploc bag.
A canned air duster commonly used to clean keyboards or electronic equipment can also be
•
utilized to dry the connector on the Naída CI Q70 processor or blow out foreign debris within
the ports. For optimal results, it should also be used in combination with the drying system.
Servicing or modification of the Naída CI Q70 or its accessories by any entity other than
•
Advanced Bionics is not permitted and will void the manufacturer's warranty.

Performance Data

The HiRes 90K Advantage implant with the HiFocus Electrode and Naída CI Q70 processor
support the HiResolution family of sound processing strategies including HiRes, HiRes with
Fidelity 120 (HiRes 120), and ClearVoice.

A clinical study was conducted in 50 adults implanted with a CII/HiRes 90K device who used
a Harmony processor to document the benefits of HiRes 120 and HiRes sound processing.
Performance with HiRes was accessed at the baseline visit and compared with HiRes 120
performance after three months of listening experience. Subsequently, subjects were refit and
retested with HiRes. Results showed equivalent mean CNC word recognition scores for the two
