OPERATING YOUR MICROWAVE OVEN

Before operating your microwave oven, be sure to
familiarize yourself with the safety precautions in
the previous sections. In addition, please review the
UTENSILS AND MATERIALS GUIDE and COOKING
TECHNIQUES sections covered in the next sections of
this manual.
TIMED MICROWAVE COOKING
1. Place food in oven and close the door
2. Turn Power Selector/Function knob (1)to desired
power level
3. Turn the Time knob to desired time, up to 30 min-
utes. If desired time is less than 2 minutes, you
must turn past 2 and then you can turn back to
desired time.
4. The microwave oven will stop when the time is up.
5. You may open the door via the door release but-
ton while the unit is cooking and this will end the
microwaving process until the door is closed, at
which time it will resume automatically unless
the knob is turned back to 0.
CAUTION: IF YOU INTERRUPTED THE MICROWAVING PROCESS AND ARE FINISHED COOK-
ING, OR IF YOU ARE DONE USING THE OVEN, ALWAYS BE SURE THAT THE TIME KNOB IS
BACK TO "0"
