OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. This log set may be used in any wood-burning fireplace, hearth, wood stove, artificial fireplace,
or any other suitable location. Select a location that is in reach of a 120 volt AC outlet.
2. After plugging into a 120 volt AC outlet, rotate the light switch clockwise for "ON" and "OFF"
operation. Note: If lamp fails to light when the unit is first turned on, check to see if the bulb has
loosened in its socket during shipping.
CAUTION: Unplug unit from electrical supply before attempting bulb replacement
or any other service work.
3. To replace the light bulb, unplug the log set, carefully remove the old bulb, and replace with a
maximum 40 watt red light bulb.

During transportation, the Tinsel assembly may on rare occasion become unseated. Should you
notice a loss of movement in your visual flame effect, make a quick inspection of the Tinsel Assembly.
If you find it unseated, simply reinsert End A into Hole B as shown in the diagram below:

If your crackling sound should ever stop, inspect the molded plastic crackler. Extended use may
cause a slight bend in the metal spindle on which the crackler rotates. To correct, realign the spindle
with your fingers to a perpendicular position allowing clearance of the tinsel assembly as shown in the
diagram below.
