CLEANING
The switch has to be in position OFF and the appliance has to be unplugged from the power supply
l
before cleaning the appliance.
Wipe the inside and outside of the appliance with a paper towel or a soft cloth. It should not be washed
l
in a dishwasher.
Do not clean the inside or outside with any abrasive scouring pad or steel wool as this will damage the
l
finish.
The blade can be removed for cleaning. To do so, use a screwdriver to loosen the three bolts on the
l
blade and take off the blade carefully. After cleaning, install the blade with the bolts.
Do not immerse in water or any other liquid.

Dry all parts well before storage.
l
Disposal of old electrical appliances.
The European directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires that old
household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal unsorted municipal waste stream. Old
appliances must be collected separately in order to optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials they
contain, and reduce the impact on human health and the environment. The crossed out "wheeled bin" symbol
on the product reminds you of your obligation, that when you dispose of the appliance, it must be separately collected.
Consumers should contact their local authority or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of their old
appliance.
