DOOR REVERSAL
CAUTION:
To avoid injury to yourself and/or property, we recommend
someone assist you during the door reversal process.
• Ensure the appliance is unplugged and empty.
• Adjust the two leveling feet to their highest position.
• Have something solid against which to rest the appliance.
This will be necessary when it comes to taking off the door
• Avoid laying the refrigerator completely flat on its back as
this may damage the cooling system.
TOOLS REQUIRED:
• 10 mm socket screw driver
• Phillips style screw driver
INCLUDED WITH YOUR UNIT:
• Upper Hinge Bracket
• Leveling Foot
• Machine Screw
• Bottom Hinge Bracket
• Door Stopper
STEP 1
Unscrew the screw of the top hinge cover. Remove the upper
hinge cover and then unscrew the upper screws of the metal
hinge bracket and take off the hinge. Then remove the left side
screw covers. Pull the appliance door upward to detach.
STEP 2
Remove the left leveling foot and the right bottom hinge brack-
et by unscrewing the mounting screws.
STEP 3
Now install the leveling foot on the opposite side and the
hinge bracket on new side of the door hinge. Then tighten the
screws of the bottom hinge bracket.
STEP 4
Slide the door into the bottom hinge pin. Remove the upper
hinge bracket on the new side and check the fitting between
the door and hinge to ensure smooth movement. Tighten the
screws of the upper hinge bracket. Replace the hinge cover
and the right side screw covers. Tighten the screw of the top
hinge cover.
STEP 5
Check that the door is aligned horizontally and vertically and
that the seals are closed on all sides before finally tightening
the upper hinge. Readjust the leveling feet.
