CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE.

To ensure the correct operation of your stove, the following Cleaning and maintenance operations are
necessary at the indicated frequency. The stove must always be cold.
The deterioration of the stove parts by a lack of cleaning involves the loss of the two-year warranty offered
by ECOFOREST (see warranty section).
5.1. Heat Exchanger.
Pull the drawers of the rake-this shall be done while the glass door closed in order to reach the ash inside the
stove. This shall be done every day when the stove is cold.
In Cíes model (drawing 11) front grill must be open in order to access to the drawers of the rake.
In the absence of exchanger tubes, this maintenance task is not nereeded on the Paris stove model.

In Venus (drawing 12) and Atenas (drawing 13) models, a greater weekly cleaning must be made on the heat

exchanger ( ). To gain better access to the exchanger and clean it perfectly, in Venus model you have to
push up the top plate of the fireplace (
it. When finished, put back the top plate being sure that the tabs are properly seated. In Atenas model, the

top plate ( ) is also fixed with a plate and a screw (

When opening the door, you reach the burn pot where combustion takes place; hoover it and remove it
(make sure you'll put it back properly) in order to clean all holes; make sure they're clean and hoover the
support of the burn pot as well. In Paris the stove, the burn pot is only removed for cleaning as specified in
paragraph 5.8. Drawing 14 shows the grates in order (Venus, Vigo, Cíes, Paris and Atenas).
