Description
The following symbols may appear in the lower area of the display:
Area in which the temperature is
measured.
The camera is in a non-standard
application mode (TI-BASIC
PLUS).
If this symbol is not displayed,
the camera is in standard
application mode (TI-BASIC).
Battery charge status
The segments indicate the
remaining operating time (see
Chapter 3.2.3 on Page 40).
The laser pointer is active.
These symbols are displayed
when the zoom function is
enabled.

The camera is connected to a
computer using the USB cable.
The symbol flashes when data
are being prepared for
transmission or are being
transmitted to the computer.
The camera is connected to a
stationary power supply.
"Fire" application mode
This mode is used for detecting
the source of a fire.
Temperatures of up to 1000 °C
(1832 °F) are displayed.
"Persons" application mode
Body heat is highlighted in this
mode.
"Thermal Scan™" application
mode
All temperatures above the
threshold are highlighted in
color.
"Outdoor" application mode
"Hazmat" application mode
