If this equipment is not properly serviced, serious personal injury
and/or damage to the equipment can result from potentially high
operating pressures. Process line pressure should be removed
prior to servicing.
This instrument contains electronic components that are
susceptible to damage by static electricity. Proper handling
procedures must be observed during the removal, installation, or
other handling of internal circuit boards or devices.
There is no routine maintenance required for the Model MT36xx
flowmeters. However should it become necessary to replace, adjust or
remove components of the flowmeter, specific recommendations must be
followed
Should this equipment require repair or adjustment, contact the nearest
Brooks District Sales or Service Office. It is important that servicing be
performed by qualified personnel.
FLOAT REPLACEMENT
1. Remove extension tube adapter from meter body.
2. Remove the float.
3. Insert float, taper down, into top of meter, being sure it slides down into
the orifice.
4. Replace extension tube adapter and tighten securely.
5. Pressure test the meter to 1.5 times the maximum operating pressure
(Refer to meter ratings).
ALARM SWITCH REPLACEMENT
1. Unscrew and remove alarm housing cover.
2. Loosen screw on reed switch holder.
3. Remove reed switch holder from isolation well.
4. Loosen set screw holding reed switch.
5. Remove reed switch from holder.
6. Disconnect reed switch wiring.
7. Prepare new reed switch wires and install new reed switch per appli
cable wiring diagram, Figure 1-7, 1-8 or 1-9.
