With the FPE function enabled (FPE On) by disconnect-
ing the Control Panel the Power Source stops, the "Power
Source Ready" signal becomes inactive, (see the "Digital
Protocols for Cebora TIG Automated Systems" Instruc-
tion Manual, cod. 3.300.363, supplied with the Power
Source) and all commands from the Robot Control are
ignored.
10.9 Plasma Unit function (PLU).
Available only if Control Panel shows a Job program.
Inside the "Second Functions" menu press T7 or T8 to
select "PLU" on D1; with M1 select the function status,
visible on D2:
− OFF = disabled (default);
− On
= enabled.
Press simultaneously T7 and T8 to exit the "Second Func-
tions" menu, saving current settings.
With the PLU function disabled (PLU OFF) the Plasma
Welding Console is excluded from the Cebora Welding
System and therefore is not operative.
With PLU function enabled (PLU On):
− the Plasma Welding Console is integrated into the Ceb-
G
ora Welding System and can be managed by the Plas-
B
ma Welding plant Robot Control;
− if the Plasma Console is disconnected or not powered,
on Control Panel D1 and D2 read "PLU nc" flashing
(error 70, par. 12.3);
− IPL parameter becomes available, adjustable with
M1.
− IPL Welding arc maximum current in the Plasma
Welding process.
Range: 5 ÷ Power Source maximum current
(260A art. 369, 330A art. 370, 450A art.450).
Default: Power Source maximum current.
10.10 Feeder Unit function (FdU).
Operating in Parameter Selection Internal mode and in
TIG mode.
In Parameter Selection Internal mode the parameters
can be adjusted from Control Panel, in TIG mode from
Robot Control.
The "Feeder Unit function" diagram (par. 13), is referred
to the Parameter Selection Internal mode, with the use
of T7, T8 and M1 of the Control Panel.
Inside the "Second Functions" menu press T7 or T8 to
select "FdU" on D1; with M1 select the function status,
visible on D2:
− OFF = disabled (default);
− On
= enabled.
Press simultaneously T7 and T8 to exit the "Second Func-
tions" menu, saving current settings.
With the FdU function enabled (FdU On), other parame-
ters become available, selectable with T7 and T8 and ad-
justable with M1:
44
Mot (Wire Feeder motor). Modality of operation of the
Wire Feeder motor:
OFF (default). The process Cold Wire is not active.
OnC (Continuous) Continuous operation.
The motor works at the HSP parameter speed set
up.
ASY (Asynchronous). Asynchronous operation.
The motor works in order to obtain a wire alter-
nated advancing. It requires the HSP, LSP, Frq
and dtY parameters set up.
SYn (Synchronous). Synchronous operation, availa-
ble only in "TIG-Pulsed".
The wire advancing happens in alternated way
synchronized with the current pulse.
Frequency and duty cycle of the alternated mo-
tion is those of the current pulse.
It is necessary therefore that the frequency of the
current pulse is comprised between 0.1 and 5 Hz,
and the duty cycle is comprised between 10 and
90%.
It requires the HSP and LSP parameters set up.
HSP (High Speed). Is the wire advancing "high"
speed expressed in m/min.
Range: 0.0 ÷ 10.0 m/min.
Default: 1.0 m/min.
LSP (Low Speed). Is the wire advancing "low"
speed expressed in m/min.
Range: -2.5 ÷ 10.0 m/min.
Default: 0.0 m/min.
Frq (Frequency). Is the "high" and "low" speeds
alternation frequency.
Range: 0.1 ÷ 5.0 Hz.
Default: 1.0 Hz.
dtY (Duty Cycle). Is the ratio between the time of
"high" speed and the period of the alternation
frequency, expressed in percentage.
Range: 10 ÷ 90%. Default: 50%.
Aut Motor automatic start. It requires the OFF and
On parameters set up.
OFF The motor starts with the "Up/Down" com-
mand from the torch or with the "Wire Inch"
command from Robot Control.
On
(default). The motor starts at the attainment
of the "Main Current" and stops to the exit
the "Main Current".
It requires the SdY parameters set up.
SdY (Start Delay). Delay between the attain-
ment of the Main Current and the motor
start.
Range: 0.0 ÷ 10.0 s.
Default: 0.0 s.
rEt
(Retract). Indicates the regression of the wire ac-
tivating at welding end (Main Current end).
Range: 0.0 ÷ 50.0 mm.
Default: 1.0 mm.
