USB pen-drive (USB flash-drive memory).
In order to program or update the Firmware using the USB
serial line, is necessary to insert in the Power Source BS
connector an "USB pen-drive" (USB flash-drive memo-
ry) containing the files "*.fwu" concerning the "Cebora
Firmware", downloadable from the "Restricted Area" of
the http://www.cebora.it web site.
The "USB pen-drive" must have a capacity of 1 GByte or
more, FAT32 Windows file system and must contain the
BIN folder, inside of which to save the files "*.fwu", in a
customer requirements order.
The more articulated is the folders structure inside the
BIN folder longer will be the time demanded, from the
Power Source control, for the appropriate "*.fwu" file re-
search.
With the Power Source powered, insert the USB pen-drive
in the BS USB connector.
Inside the "Second Functions" menu using T7 or T8 select
"USb" on D1; with M1 select "UPd" on D2.

Press T5 for a time longer than 3 s in order to start the
updating sequence.
Once started the sequence, the Power Source control
search in the "USB pen-drive" the file "*.fwu" more ap-
propriated for the Power Source and automatically begins
the Firmware updating for all the equipments present in
the Welding System.
In essence, the Power Source "*.fwu" file, also contains all
the updated data for the other equipments which, if present on
the CAN bus line, are recognized and automatically updated.
The activation sequence is marked by the message "UPd"
on D1 while D2 scans the sequence several phases.
The sequence is concluded with the Power Source restart.
After the restart, the Control Panel newly visualizes the
main page.
12.3 Error Codes Table.
The following table shows "Error Codes" that may be in-
dicated on the Control Panel, in case of Welding System
malfunction.
For a detailed troubleshooting description please refer to
the Power Source Service Manual.
Replace control board.
Check CAN bus connection between:
− Power Source control board and Control Panel;
− Power Source control board and Robot Interface (see Robot Inter-
face Instructions Manual) or Robot Control;
− Power Source control board and Wire Feeder Unit (see Wire
Feeder Unit Instructions Manual).
Make sure correct setup of the CAN-1 and CAN-2 communication
lines (par. 3.3, 10.14.16, 11.2).
Make sure compatibility of the program releases inserted into the
equipments and, if necessary, perform the Firmware update (par.
12.2).
Replace control board and/or Control Panel and/or Robot Interface
and/or Wire Feeder.
Check wiring between Power Source output terminals, HF-filter,
measurement and control boards.
Check wiring between current transducer and control board.
Replace control and/or power and/or power transformer and/or diode
group and/or output inductor and/or current transducer.
Check wiring between control and power boards.
Replace control and/or power boards.
Check fuses on service transformer primary side.
Check wiring between control and supply boards.
Replace control and/or supply boards and/or service transformer.
Check wiring between control, power boards and current transducer.
Replace control and/or power boards and/or current transducer.
