You should perform a visual inspection before every use, and in accordance
with your specific institution's policy.
– Examine both sides of the display filter for cleanliness and general
physical condition. Make sure that it is not scratched, that there are no
smeared liquids, the adhesive is still in its release paper, and that there
are no visible signs of abuse.
Care Task Frequency
Cleaning Cleaning should be performed with soap and water or a disinfectant, as
generally commensurate with your institution's policies.
Disinfecting Disinfecting should regularly be performed manually, as this will reduce
the risk of cross-infection. The solutions listed in the table below have
been tested for compatibility with the display filter material.
Tests conducted used disinfectants with the dilution/concentration
indicated, simulating a daily manual surface cleaning motion of ten
minutes duration with direct contact.
Please note that scrubbing is not recommended.

Schedule: Failure on the part of the responsible individual hospital or institution
employing the use of this equipment to implement a satisfactory maintenance
schedule may cause undue equipment failure and possible health hazards. Both
cleaning and disinfection procedures should adhere to existing institution-specific
criteria.
