GENERAL INFORMATION MIST How Ultrasonic Humidifiers Work Ultrasonic humidifiers operate on the principle of high frequency oscillation of water molecules until they are broken into ultra-fine particles (1-5μm). WATER PARTICLES This is done by a vibrating disc called a nebulizer (also called an atomizer, oscillator, or transducer) inside the humidifier. -

DETAILED SET UP Unpack unit 1. Open the box and remove any packing material. 2. Remove any packaged literature on top. Locate the remote control and set aside. Lift unit up and out of carton. 3. The NOVA is preassembled and is ready to fill. Fill Reservoir CAUTION: Ensure power is OFF before filling. -

OPERATION When the NOVA is plugged in, a beep will sound and the control panel will light up. The two right-hand dig- its on the large panel will display the ambient humidity. With the NOVA filled and plugged in, it is now ready to turn on. -

Pour a few drops of oil into the reservoir. The mist out- put will disperse the aroma throughout the area. Add more oil, as needed, to create the desired effect. We recommend AIRCARE brand essential oils, however any essential oil for diffusers is appropriate for use with this unit. -

CAUTIONS: • Never immerse the base of this unit into water. • Always pour water out of the tank AWAY from air in- take, to prevent damaging the unit. See the illustration in the margin. NOTES: When handling the NOVA, protect the nozzle from falling out of the lid. -

Storage 1. Clean the unit as outlined above. Dry out the unit thoroughly. 2. Store in the original package, if available. Keep this manual with unit. Take care that nothing heavy is placed on top of the box. 3. Do not store the unit in an attic or other high-temperature area, as damage will occur.
