CAUTIONS:

Never immerse the base of this unit into water.
•
Always pour water out of the tank AWAY from air in-
take, to prevent damaging the unit. See the illustration
in the margin.
NOTES: When handling the NOVA, protect the nozzle from
falling out of the lid. It loosely fits in the center for easy adjust-
ment of the vapor direction.
Never use harsh cleaners or chemicals on this humidifier. Do
not use scouring agents on the inner or outer body, as this
will scratch and mar the surface. Use a soft brush
(bottle brush is preferred) to keep the interior of the unit clean.
Regular Cleaning (perform when refilling the tank)
Turn off the unit and unplug it from the outlet.

Rinse the lid, especially the nozzle area very thoroughly.

the last essential oil remains, you may need to proceed

Wipe dry all parts with a soft, clean cloth or paper

Weekly Maintenance

NOTE: Although the lid, vapor nozzle and mist guide column
are top rack dishwasher safe, you can use the following proce-
dures to maintain a clean unit and ensure no distortion occurs
to the parts from using the dishwasher.
Turn off the unit and unplug it from the outlet, noting

Lift the lid off the tank. Empty the tank. Release the

mist guide column in the center by turning the guide
a quarter turn clockwise and lifting out.
Place the lid and guide column inside the tank for

descaling. Fill the tank half full of clean, cool water
and add two to three tablespoons of white vinegar.
Leave the solution in the tank for 20 minutes.
Lift the lid and guide column out and rinse them well

cloth and wipe down the outer surface.
Dry the unit with a soft, absorbent cloth and reassemble.
