Light Feature
The NOVA has a light feature that allows a multi-color
LED light to shine in the basin and through the lid. This
effect makes a pleasant nightlight effect.
1. To turn the light feature on, push the light icon on the
control panel or remote control. Note the icon on the
control panel turns green.
2. The colors will run through their cycle, seen through
the semi-transparent lid. If you wish a particular color
to stay constant, just press the light button again
when that color appears. That color will remain until
the light button is pressed again, causing the light
feature to turn off. The icon will turn red again.
Sleep Mode
Another feature of the NOVA allows users to turn off the
control panel lights to provide a better sleep environment.
1. Press the crescent moon icon on the control panel or
remote control to initiate the sleep mode on the NOVA.
In a few seconds, the LED light feature (if turned on) will
extinguish, and the icons on the front will dim and then
go out. The crescent icon at the far right of the control
panel will dim and turn from red to green.
2. To turn off the Sleep mode, hold any button other
than the POWER button for two or three seconds and
within a few seconds the lights will return to the con-
trol panel and full function will return to the unit.
Essential Oil Diffuser Feature
The NOVA has a unique feature that allows essential oil
to be added directly to the water tank.
Pour a few drops of oil into the reservoir. The mist out-
put will disperse the aroma throughout the area. Add
more oil, as needed, to create the desired effect.
We recommend AIRCARE brand essential oils, however
any essential oil for diffusers is appropriate for use with
this unit.

MAINTENANCE

General

Cleaning your humidifier regularly helps eliminate odors
and bacterial growth and helps maintain the perfor-
mance by reducing mineral build up on the nebulizer.
Do not leave water in the base more than a day when
not using the humidifier. Mineral deposits and bacterial
growth accumulate very quickly.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or shock hazard,
always turn off and unplug unit before performing any
cleaning or maintenance procedures.
