OPERATION

When the NOVA is plugged in, a beep will sound and
the control panel will light up. The two right-hand dig-
its on the large panel will display the ambient humidity.
With the NOVA filled and plugged in, it is now ready
to turn on. The Nova can be controlled by the touch
controls on the front of the unit or by the buttons on
the remote control.
Basic Operation:
1. Turn Unit On - Press the power button on the
unit to turn the unit to the on. The unit will start
producing vapor in the low flow rate. The "1"
above the large display will light up to indicate
flow intensity. Note: the remote will operate the
unit after the initial front panel power-up.
2. Set Humidity - Press the humidity setting (%)
button on the unit or remote to set the desired
humidity level. Select from 25 - 65% in five per-
cent increments. The "%" indication on the large
display will flash and the setting will display on
the right-hand digits in the control panel. The
vapor flow will turn on and off as needed to
maintain the selected humidity. A 65% setting
will cause the unit to run continuously. After a
brief time, the display will change to show ambi-
ent humidity.
3. Set Vapor Flow Rate - Press the droplet icon on
the control panel or remote to increase the vapor
release from low "1" to medium "2" to high "3."
The correlating number above the large digital
display will light up as the setting is changed.
4. Set Timer - A timer feature allows you to set the
NOVA to run for up to 12 hours and shut down
automatically. Press the clock icon repeatedly
and observe the two left-hand numbers on the
display step incrementally from 1 to 12. The
selected number of hours will appear on the
left-hand side of the display, and the small H will
illuminate. The remaining hour(s) will appear in
whole hour increments.
5. To cancel the timer feature, press the timer icon
again until two zeros "00" flash. At this point the
timer digits and the "H" lights extinguish.
