2.3.7. This appliance should be stored out of reach
of children.
2.3.8. Do not store the appliance if it is still hot.
2.3.9. Never leave the appliance unattended when in
use and keep out of the reach of children.
2.3.10. Do not vacuum any sharp-edged, hot or
incandescent material
2.3.11. The appliance should not be exposed to heat.
2.3.12. Unplug the appliance from the mains supply
socket after use and before every cleaning. Pull the
plug, not the mains cable, in order to disconnect the
appliance from the mains.
2.3.13. Ensure that blockages are removed.
2.3.14. Do not use the vacuum cleaner without the
dust container or dust filter in place.
2.3.15. In order to avoid overloading the vacuum
cleaner, do not vacuum any flour, cement, etc.
2.3.16. If, for some reason, the appliance were to
catch fire, disconnect the appliance from the mains
power supply and DO NOT USE WATER TO PUT THE
FIRE OUT.
2.4. Service:
2.4.1. Make sure that the appliance is serviced only
by suitably qualified technician, and that only original
spare parts or accessories are used to replace exist-
ing parts/accessories.
2.4.2. If the power cord is damaged, the manu-
facturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified
person must
replace it in order to avoid a hazard.
2.4.3. Any misuse or failure to follow the instruc-
tions for use renders the guarantee and the manufac-
turer's liability null and void.
3. Instructions for use

3.1. Before use:

3.1.1. Ensure the dust bin is not full.
3.1.2. Ensure there is no dust stuck in the air intake.
3.1.3. Clean the inner and outer parts of the air
intake.
3.2. Assemblling the base:
3.2.1. Couple the charging support piece to the charging
support base. (Fig. 1)
3.2.2. The charging basse must be fixed to the wall using
two screws. Once the screws are in place, insert the charg-
ing base onto them to secure it.

3.3 Charging the battery:

The new battery does not come completely charged and
must be charged.
3.3.1. Charge the battery at room temperature
between 4 and 40ºC.
3.3.2. Plug the charger into the mains.
3.3.3. Approximately 6 to 8 hours are needed for
a complete charge of the battery. Never attempt to
over charge the battery (although it is recommended
that the first charge of the battery be of 10 hours in
duration).
3.3.4. While the battery is charging, the pilot light
will come on indicating that the charger is charging
the battery.
3.3.5. When the battery is charged disconnect the
charger from the mains supply.
NB: Do not use the appliance while it is
connected to the charger.
3.4 Use
3.4.1. Remove the appliance from its charging base.
3.4.2. Turn the appliance on using the on/ off switch.
3.4.3. The "On" pilot light will light up
3.4.4. To use the handheld vacuum cleaner:
3.4.5. Uncouple the handheld vacuum cleaner
