SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Flame
WARNING! Extreme care should be taken when
stripping paint. The peelings, residue and vapors
of paint may contain lead, which is poisonous.
Any pre-1977 paint may contain lead and paint
applied to homes prior to 1950 is likely to contain
lead. Once deposited on surfaces, hand to mouth
contact can result in the ingestion of lead. Exposure
to even low levels of lead can cause irreversible
brain and nervous system damage; young and
unborn children are particularly vulnerable. Before
beginning any paint removal process you should
determine whether the paint you are removing
contains lead. This can be done by your local
health department or by a professional who uses
a paint analyzer to check the lead content of the
paint to be removed. LEAD-BASED PAINT SHOULD
ONLY BE REMOVED BY A PROFESSIONAL AND SHOULD
NOT BE REMOVED USING A HEAT GUN.

Always connect and disconnect the tanks away from flames and ignition points. For all work inside professional workshops, the tank must be placed on a mobile trolley that can be easily maneuvered.

FUNCIONAMIENTO NOTA: La pistola de aire caliente funciona con Diagrama 1 gas propano en estado gaseoso, contenido en tanques de distintas capacidades. Uilice los tanques más grandes disponibles. Conecte y desconecte los tanques siempre lejos de las flamas o los puntos de ignición. Para todas las tareas llevadas a cabo en talleres profesionales, el tanque debe colocarse en un carrito móvil que se pueda manejar con facilidad. -

CONTINUACIÓN DE FUNCIONAMIENTO 5. Presione el botón START (INICIO) ubicado en la parte Diagrama 5 superior del regulador hacia el tanque de propano. Manténgalo presionado durante tres segundos. (Vea Diagrama 5) NOTA: No es necesario repetir el Paso 5 después de cada uso. Repítalo solo cuando desconecte y vuelva a conectar el regulador. -

MANTENIMIENTO Hay un encendedor adicional en el asa de la pistola de aire caliente. Para cambiar el encendedor, ejerza presión descendente sobre el interruptor negro para liberar el gatillo. (Vea Diagrama 9) Diagrama 9 2. Tire del gatillo hacia adelante para dejar a la vista el encendedor negro. -
