12.1 Troubleshooting the Charger
Fault
LEDs on charger
Battery not being

Cause

► Leave the battery connected to the charger.
Charging starts automatically as soon as the

► Disconnect battery and reconnect.
► Disconnect the battery.
► Disconnect the mains plug from the power supply.
► Disconnect the connecting cable from the charger.
► Wait for 1 minute.
► Connect the connecting cable to the charger.
► Insert the mains plug in a wall outlet.
► If the LED "A" continues to flash red: Do not use
the charger.
There is a malfunction in the charger.
► Connect the battery again.
► If the LED "A" flashes red again: Do not use the
battery.
There is a fault in the battery.
► Do not use the battery.
► Continue charging the battery until the LED (B)
emits green light.
► Disconnect the mains plug from the power supply.
► Disconnect the connecting cable from the charger.
► Wait for 1 minute.
► Connect the connecting cable to the charger.
► Insert the mains plug in a wall outlet.
