DESCALING
Descale your coffee maker regularly.
Descaling the drip coffee section
Fill the water tank with water and descaler to the MAX level.
Press the On/Off button, the yellow indicator light will come on.
After completing descaling, let the appliance work two more brewing cycles with only fresh
cold water to remove all descaler
Descaling the espresso coffee section
1. Fill the water tank with water and the sour salt to the MAX level.
2. Press the On/Off button, the yellow indicator light will come on. Press the espresso/froth
select button to the espresso position, waiting for the green indicator light to come on.
Make sure the assembled filter holder is not attached and position a container under
the outlet.
3. Press the pump control button to make two cups of coffee the press the same button again
to stop pumping.
4. Rotate the steam knob to allow a little of solution to run off. After getting two cups of boiled
solution, press the On/Off button to switch off the coffee maker.
5. Restart the appliance and then repeat the above steps at least three times. Leave the
solution to work for about 15 minutes to run off the rest of the solution in the boiler.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Symptom
Water leaks out of carafe.
Water leaks out of the
appliance.
Water leaks out of the
bottom of the appliance.
Acid taste exists in
espresso coffee.

Possible Cause
The carafe is not located
properly.
The level of water in the tank
exceeds the MAX level.
There is much water in the drip
tray.
The coffee maker is
malfunctioning.
No clean correctly after cleaning
mineral deposits.
The coffee powder is stored in a
hot, wet place for a long time.

Possible Solution
Align the opening of carafe.
Make sure the water tank
has not been filled beyond
the MAX level.
Please clean the drip tray.
Please contact the
authorised service agent for
repairing.
Clean coffee maker
according to 'BEFORE
USING YOUR COFFEE
MAKER FOR THE FIRST
TIME'.
Please use fresh coffee
powder, or store unused
