Assembling Drill Press
The following Skil Drill Models may be used with the drill press
insert: All Models with a 43mm clamping collar.
!
WARNING
• Turn main power off on the X-Bench before using
accessory power tools.
• Before making adjustments, make sure the drill press
switch is in the OFF position and the cord is unplugged.
• BEFORE USING THE DRILL PRESS: Read the instruction
manual that came with the drill.
1. Attach the retaining bracket (DP6) to the bottom of the base
plate (DP5) using the 2 hex-head screws (DP9), washers (DP8)
and wing nuts (DP7) as shown (Fig. 1).
2. Attach the drill press column assembly (DP4) to the base plate
using the three bolts (DP11), washers (DP10), and nuts (DP12)
as shown (Fig. 1).
3. Attach the drilling lever arm (DP1) to the column assembly
(DP4) using the lever attachment bolt (DP2) and bolt cover
(DP3) (Fig. 1).

BEFORE USING THE DRILL: Read the instruction manual

1. Lift the red latch lever Y located at front of the table opening and
remove blank insert (Fig. 2).
