ROUTINE SERVICE
Use the following table as a guide for routine
maintenance. Inspection and maintenance shall be
performed by personnel who are trained and familiar
with mechanical and electrical procedures. Refer to
the Service Manual for complete service instructions.
Please copy this page and use the Routine Service
Table as a checklist when inspecting a machine for
service.
COMPONENT INSPECTION OR SERVICES
Engine Oil
Check level and condition.
Check for leaks.
Change oil & filter
Engine Fuel
Check fuel level.
System
Check for leaks.
Replace fuel filter.
Check air cleaner.
Engine
Check coolant level (with engine cold).
Coolant
Replace coolant.
Battery
Check electrolyte level.
System
Check specific gravity.
Clean exterior.
Check battery cable condition.
Clean terminals.
Hydraulic
Check oil level.
Oil
Change filter.
Drain and replace with ISO 46 compatible oil.
Hydraulic
Check for leaks.
System
Check hose connections.
Check hoses for exterior wear.
Emergency
Check operation of emergency override
Hydraulic
valves and hand pump.
System
Check operation of brake release hand pump.
Controller
Check operation of all controls.
Platform
Check fasteners for proper torque.
Floor and
Check welds for cracks.
Rails
Check condition of platform.
Check condition of anchorage points.
Check condition of operators manual.
Tires
Check for damage .
Check air pressure (75 psi).
Check lug nuts (torque to 123 Nm [90 ft. lbs.]).
Hydraulic
Wipe clean.
Pump
Check for leaks at mating surface.
Check for hose fitting leaks.
Check mounting bolts for proper torque.

Inspect for structural cracks.
Check pivot points for wear.
Check pivot pin retaining bolts for proper torque.
Check members for deformation.
Check hoses for pinch or rubbing points.
Check component mounting for proper torque.
Check welds for cracks.
Check ring gear for proper lubrication and wear.
Lubricate worm gear bearings.
Lubricate ring gear (MoS 2 grease).
Check for leaks.
Check oil level.
Change oil after break-in period.
Change oil (SAE 90 wt. gear oil).
Check the cylinder rods for wear.
Check pivot pin retaining bolts for proper torque.
Check seals for leaks.
Inspect pivot points for wear.
Check fittings for proper torque.
Check for and repair collision damage.
Check fasteners for proper torque.
Check for corrosion, remove and repaint.
Lubricate.
Check for peeling, missing, or unreadable
labels & replace.
