11 Disassembly and replacement

The product is not protected against incorrect assembly/disassembly!
Risk of injury and damage to the device during subsequent operation.


To disassemble the hand-held nutrunner, take the following individual steps:



12 Disposal

Electric tools, batteries, accessories and packaging must be recycled in line with environmental
regulations.
Never dispose of electric tools and accumulators/batteries with the regular household garbage!
For EU countries According to the European directive 2002/96/EC on waste electrical and electronic equipment and its
only transposition into national law, electric tools that are no longer in working order must be collected
separately and recycled in line with environmental regulations.
According to Directive 2006/66/EC, defective or drained accumulators/batteries have to be recycled.

12.1 Environmental protection

Manufacturing The products are produced using manufacturing processes that are optimized in terms of energy and raw
process material and simultaneously allow for reuse and recycling of the produced waste. We regularly try to
replace polluted raw, auxiliary and operating materials with environmentally friendly alternatives.
Prohibited We guarantee that our products do not contain any substances included in the Chemicals Prohibition
substances Ordinance. We moreover declare that our products are free from mercury, asbestos, PCB and chlorinated
hydrocarbons.
RoHS directive We guarantee that only safe materials according to the EU RoHS directive are used for our products.
No release of Our products do not contain any hazardous substances that could be released while they are used as
hazardous intended. Therefore, no negative consequences are to be expected for the environment if the product is
substances used as intended.
Material Steel, aluminum, copper, plastics, magnetic materials, electronic components and electronic assemblies
components
Further, the product may not contain any improper foreign substances or foreign components when it is
returned.
Deliver the products free to Rexroth Service; see chapter "Service and sales" on page 39.
These instructions have been printed on recycled paper free of chlorine.

13 Extension and conversion

The components of the hand-held nutrunner may not be modified, i.e., they may not be opened or
disassembled and their mechanical properties (dimensions, holes, etc.) may not be changed.

Assemble/disassemble the product according to the following information and in the correct order.
Never clamp the product with its housing cases, e.g. in a vise.
Put the program selector to its center position.
Remove the battery; see page 246 figure 4.
