UPGRADE YOUR HR4 SOFTWARE

It is important to update your HR4 software from time to time to
ensure you have the latest enhancements. Updates are regularly
released to enhance the features of the scale or to correct issues.
You will need access to a windows desktop computer or laptop,
your HR4 reader and USB connector cable.
1. Visit the Gallagher Animal Performance website
https://am.gallagher.com
2. Select login from the top right of screen and log into your
account. If you don't have an account, refer to "Creating a
Gallagher Account" (p. 23).
3. You will now see "My App" in the top right corner where
the login and register button was. Click

6. Locate 'Latest firmware of HR4/HR5' and click
Download
7. Open your Downloads folder and double-click the HR4/5
Firmware upgrade file.
8. Connect the USB cable between reader and computer.
• Plug the USB cable supplied with the HR4, into the USB
port on the Hand Held Reader.
• Plug the other end of the cable into a USB COM port on
your computer.
• Turn on the Reader.
9. Follow the instructions on the wizard. It may take 10 minutes
for the update to complete.
