Rectifying faults

Warning!
Do not open the device. You risk sustaining an electric shock by
doing this.
➤ In the event of a fault, set the main switch (1 1, page 3) to "Off" to switch
off the device.
The "Status" LED (1 6, page 3) displays the fault:
LED display
Red, flashing
Red, permanently lit

Guarantee

Our general guarantee conditions apply. If the product is defective, please re-
turn it to the WAECO branch in your country (see the back of the instruction
manual for the addresses) or to your dealer. For repair and guarantee
processing, please include the following documents when you send in the
device:
A copy of the receipt with purchasing date,
A reason for the claim or description of the fault

Cause
A cable has been discon-
nected
Defective battery
No supply voltage
Inverse polarity
Overheating
Rectifying faults
Remedy
Check the cables and connections.
Replace the battery.
Check the cables and connections to
the mains supply.
Connect the IU0U automatic charger
with the correct polarity.
Check if the fuse (1 4, page 3) has
triggered and replace it if necessary
(type F 16 A/5x30 mm).
Improve the ventilation of the IU0U
automatic charger.
Make sure that no ventilation open-
ings are covered.
If necessary, reduce the ambient
temperature.
