Installation

Prior to Use

1 Slide the unit forward and press the main power button.
Refer to the illustration below.
Use the test strip provided to determine water hard-

ness. Refer to User Options in the Use and Care Guide
to adjust the hardness setting.
3 Clean the unit thoroughly with hot water and a mild
detergent.
Rinse and dry with a soft cloth.

5 Open the service door, then remove the water tank.
Refer to the illustration below. NOTE: If installed, the
water spout must be removed to open the service door.
6 Fill the water tank with water.

7 1 Insert the hot water spout. Two beeps indicate the
spout is installed correctly. Refer to the illustration
below.
8 2 Place the rinse container below the spout.
Select the desired language. To select, scroll through

the languages until the desired language appears, then
touch the corresponding icon.
Touch . Hot water is dispensed from the hot

water spout.
