Diaphragm pump
Brush motor
The suction system vacuums the water, detergent and dirt up and
deposits them in the right collection tank. The suction also dries the
freshly washed floor in both directions of operation. Through a pipe,
the vacuum in the tank causes a vacuum to form in the space
between the two pairs of squeegee blades. The blades in contact
with the floor bend in the direction of operation, closing the vacuum
in front of the brush and opening the vacuum behind the brush in
such a way that the freshly brushed floor is vacuumed.

Via a belt, a second motor drives rotation of the centre brush.
Rotating the knobs/handgrips on the handlebar releases the
handlebar, enabling it to be lowered to clean in inaccessible areas.

Safety instructions
IMPORTANT - Failure to observe the following safety
rules may cause injury or damage to equipment.
IMPORTANT - The machine is not approved as a road
vehicle and may not be used on public roads.
7.2.1
Checks to be performed before starting up the
machine.
Before using the machine, make sure all safety devices are
positioned correctly and are in good condition.
In the case of the 400 EL, make sure the mains electricity circuit
is suitably earthed and equipped with thermal solenoid switch
and differential switch.
Make sure the earth wires in the sockets are uninterrupted.
7.2.2
Checks to be performed and behaviour to be
adopted once the machine has been started up.
If the machine starts to make abnormal noises, turn off
immediately. Do not start up the machine until the cause of the
noise has been eliminated.
Never leave the machine unattended when in operation.
Never allow people to approach the machine while in operation.
Monitor correct operation of the work cycle and stop the
machine immediately in the case of abnormal operation.
7.3
Prohibited operations
Adjustment, maintenance and/or lubrication may not be
performed with the machine on.
7.4
Training
All operators must be suitably trained, including with hands-on
experience. This training should emphasise:
That the machine may not be used on public roads;
•
That passengers may not be transported;
•
The need for attention and concentration while working;
•
Avoid pulling the electric cable while using the 400 EL
•
model;
Do not use the machine on slopes of greater than 12%.
•
Remember there is no such thing as a "safe" slope;
•
Pay attention to possible bumps, holes or other hidden
•
dangers;
Do not change direction suddenly;
•
Never use the machine with defective guards or without
•
the safety devices;
Before leaving the controls, unplug from the power socket
•
and activate the parking brake. Turn off the motor and
remove the ignition key.
7.5
Preliminary checks and operations
IMPORTANT: do not start the machine up while the
preliminary checks and operations are underway
Failure to observe these instructions may cause
injury or damage to equipment.
For the battery model:
Check the level of the electrolyte fluid inside the battery
•
and top up if necessary.
Charge the battery.
•
For both models:
Fill the left tank with water and detergent in the quantities
•
specified in the instructions accompanying the detergent
used;
Adjust the height of the brush by turning the knob at the
•
front in such a way that brush rotation tends to move the
machine forward slightly. If the brush is higher, cleaning is
not efficient, if it adheres more to the floor, it increases
wear on the bristles without improving cleaning.
