way that they bend when the machine moves forward,
closing the vacuum upstream of the brush correctly.
7.6 Controls model 400 BA and 400 EL
The operator controls the machine using the controls on the
handlebar. The controls consist of a series of four luminous buttons
plus a light.
From right to left, they are:
General electrical circuits enabling button;

Brush rotation motor start button;
•
Power on luminous
button
Suction motor start button;
•
Diaphragm pump start button;
•
Suction on luminous
button
IMPORTANT: When using this last control, care must
be taken not to operate the pump without water and
detergent as the pump could be damaged.
In the centre is a light indicating that power to the machine is on
(from the mains when the machine is plugged into the mains socket
or from the battery when the main switch is pressed);

Finally, the lever under the right handgrip of the handlebar gives the
signal for the pump to spray the solution onto the brush.
7.7 Pictograms on the controls
The following pictograms are used on the machine.

knob which raises or lowers the squeegee blades.

7.8 Starting up

completing the "Preliminary checks and operations"
