INTENDED USE

The device is designed for the decoration of wood and leather, for cutting and melting
plastics and for soldering, and may only be used for these purposes. All other uses are
expressly forbidden and do not apply as the intended use.

SWITCHING ON/OFF

Plug in the mains plug (9) to switch on the device.
Unplug the mains plug (9) to switch off the device.
USE
- First, trace the design you want onto the material with a pencil or apply a pre-prepared
design.
- Plug the power cable into a suitable socket, place the pyrography tool on the rest and
leave to heat up for around 2 minutes.
- Start by testing with the "Universal" bit (fitted on delivery). The longer edge is ideal for
fine, broad and deeper lines. Use the pointed bit to create dotted designs and text. The
angle is especially good for creating shadows.
- Use the different bits and stamps to create a wide range of different designs.
- Use pliers to change the bits.
- The knife insert is ideal for cutting foam or melting ends of thread and rope made of nylon
or other synthetic material.
- Wait until the tool has cooled down completely before changing inserts. They are made of
brass which is a relatively soft material. When hot, the insert thread can become slightly
damaged and will then be hard to re-fit later.
MAINTENANCE
Soot can form on the inserts after some time. Remove with fine sandpaper to ensure
accurate and controlled work.
