Use
Beware of hot surfaces
CAUTION: "H" will show which cooking zone is hot to touch. It will disappear when
the surface has cooled down to a safe temperature. Residual heat in the cooking
zones can be used to keep pans warm after cooking has finished.

Locking the Controls

• You can lock the controls to prevent unintended use (for example children accidentally turning the
cooking zones on).
• When the controls are locked, all the controls except the On / Off control are disabled.
Touch the Child lock control
Touch and hold the child lock control
CAUTION: When the hob is locked, all controls are disabled except On / Off
In an emergency, turn off the hob using On / Off
Using the Timer
The Timer can be used as:
1. A countdown timer where no cooking zones are controlled.
2. A power timer that switches off the cooking zone at the end of the set period.
• The maximum selectable time period is 99 minutes.

To lock the controls
. The timer indicator will show "Lo".
To unlock the controls
next time you turn the hob back on.
