2.1. Inserting and removing the disc
Insert the disc into the player in the correct position with the printed side
facing outside.
2.2. Important note
Due to the fact that the disc will be spinning at high speed when playing,
do not use damaged discs nor glue or paper to repair them as this will
damage the product mechanism.

2.4. Handling the product
When moving the product, ensure the disc has been removed, switched
off and the cable disconnected. Avoid blows and brusque movements
when moving the device.

Do not put pressure on or squash the product. Store the product away
from insecticides or volatile substances. Avoid long periods of contact
with rubber or nylon, these substances may discolour or damage the
product surface. Place the product on a fl at, stable and well-ventilated
surface. Do not place the product in rooms with high temperatures,
dampness, dust or direct sunlight. When it is being moved long distances,
wrap it properly to avoid scratches or blows.
2.6. Cleaning the product and the screen.
Normally, clean using a damp cloth and a neutral detergent if there are
stubborn stains, then dry.
Turn off and unplug the product before cleaning.
Alcohol, diluent, benzene and other chemical agents can damage the
surface fi nish. Use a soft cloth, like a glasses cloth, when cleaning the
LCD screen.

Warnings:

- If there is an obstacle between the main unit and the remote control, this

5.1. UP: moves the selection up in the menu.

Playing, press the F/NO key fi rst and "NUMERIC KEYPAD" will
appear in the corner. Then, press LEFT/FR to go backwards.

Press the "SUBTITLE" button repeatedly to select the language or
remove the subtitles. English subtitles are activated by default but some
DVDs have the subtitles deactivated by default.

When playing a disc, press the "MENU" on the remote control or press
and hold the "DOWN/MENU" button on the player to enter or exit the
DVD menu.
In the menu, select "playing in subsection" and then "ENTER" to enter
the selection screen, press "UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT" to select the sub-
section and press "ENTER" to play.

In STOP mode, press "SETUP" to access the Setup Mode. Use the
LEFT/RIGHT keys to select "Preference Setup" and press "ENTER".

confi rm. Press "SETUP" to exit the Setup menu.
Note: if the TV does not show colour after connecting the player, adjust
the output system to the input system of the TV.

When the unit is playing, if the colour and brightness of the image are
not good, press STOP and then "SETUP" and access the General Setup.
Press UP/ DOWN to go to "Panel Quality", press "Enter " or "Right" to
enter in Video Panel Setup. Here you can adjust the brightness, contrast,
saturation and tone using the direction keys. Press "SETUP" to exit the
menu.

The screen saver function serves to extend the working life of the LCD
screen and to save energy.
Setup: in the Stop mode, press "SETUP" to enter, then "LEFT/ RIGHT"
to access the "General Setup Page". Using the direction keys, select
"Screen saver", press "Enter" or "RIGHT" to access Setup, select "On"
and "ENTER" to confi rm and "SETUP" to exit. The screen saver will be
activated in the stop mode if there is no activity for 5 minutes. Press any
button to activate it.
