CLEANING
IMPORTANT! Ethereal oils and organic solvents can damage plastic parts. Do not use
additives such as lemon juice or the juice from orange peel, butyric acid, or a cleanser
that contains acetic acid. Do not use any abrasive cleansers.
WARNING! Do not use metal or sharp objects to clean the appliance.
For hygiene reasons, regularly clean the interior and the accessories.
Remove the food from the appliance, wrap it in newspaper and store it in a cool, dry
place.
1. Switch the appliance off and remove the plug from the mains. Alternatively,
switch off the circuit breaker or unscrew the fuse.
2. Wedge the door open. Place an old towel on the floor to help catch any water.
3. Clean the appliance and the accessories with a cloth and lukewarm water. Then,
wipe all parts with a clean, dry cloth until they are dry.
4. After everything is dry, connect the appliance to the mains.
REPLACING THE LAMP BULB
CAUTION! Before replacing the bulb in the lamp, unplug the appliance.
The correct bulb specification is listed on the appliance rating label.
1. Turn the thermostat to number 0 and turn off the appliance.
2. Unplug the appliance. For safety, make sure the appliance is disconnected from
the mains.
3. Remove the screw from the lamp cover.
4. Pull the lamp cover out. See Figure 16.
5. Unscrew the bulb.
6. Screw in a fresh bulb.
7. Replace the cover and screw it into place.
8. Plug in the appliance and set the thermostat to the recommended setting.
STORAGE
If the appliance is left empty for long periods of time, switch it off, clean, and dry it.
Leave the door open to prevent mould from developing inside the appliance.
