4.2 Detaching the machine from the guiding device

Use the following procedure to detach the
machine from the guiding device:
1. Advance the machine slightly on the guiding
device.
2. Press and hold the ratchet 1.
3. Pull the machine from the rear away from the
guiding device.
The machine is detached from the guiding

device.
Important information when using the Model S guiding device:
Adjust the machine used to a cutting depth of at least 30 mm (1.18 in) before placing it on
the guiding device S or when removing it. Otherwise the cable holder of the guiding device
will get caught on the motor housing of the machine used.

4.3 Working with the guiding device

Use the following procedure to work with the
guiding device:
1. Secure the workpiece against shifting.
2. Position the machine on the guiding device. See
also chapter 4.1 Connecting the machine with
the guiding device.
3. Position the machine with the guiding device on
the workpiece.
4. Set the machining angle at the movable sliding
bevel segment 2 on the guiding device.
➢ The angle is indicated on a scale on the
top of the guiding device.
5. Hold the machine at both handles and push the
two stop bolts 3 towards the workpiece.
