ELECTRONIC SPEED
CONTROL
The blade speed can be set with
the knob up on the tool. There are
six different speeds. Position 1 sets
the lowest speed, and position 6
the highest. Hold the handle and
turn the speed control to the
required position with your thumb.
SETTING THE PENDULUM
- For soft materials (wood, plastic
etc.), set the oscillation to position
2 or 3;
- For sharp-edged cuts, set the
oscillation to position 0 or 1;
- For medium-hard materials (hard
wood, aluminium etc.), set the
oscillation to a suitable position for
the application. For thin workpieces,
set the oscillation to position 0 or 1;
- For hard materials (steel etc.),
set the oscillation to position 0;
- For round cuts, set the oscillation
to position 0.
DUST COLLECTION
To keep the work surface clean,
the jigsaw is equipped with
a connection for dust extraction.
You can connect your vacuum
cleaner to this.
Use the vacuum cleaner adapter
supplied for dust tube
(Dust extraction adapter).
BLOW BUTTON
- The blow button, marked "off <-->
on" under the button, is located
button for adjusting oscillation lower
right corner;
- The tool is in blow mode when the
blow button is in the "on" position.
The blow function is activated
by pressing the power switch;
- The dust extraction function
is activated when the blow button
is in the "off " position;
SAWING
- Switch on the jigsaw;
- Place the bottom plate of the
appliance on the workpiece;
- Slowly move the tool towards
the starting point on the sawing line.
Hold the base plate firmly pressed
against the workplace to avoid
vibrations or breaking the blade;
CAUTION:
Let the tool do the work.
Do not press the tool too hard.
PARALLEL FENCE
- Use the supplied parallel fence
to saw parallel to the edge of the
workpiece:
- Undo the finger screws on the
front of the base plate;
- Insert the parallel fence from
the side in the slot in the base plate;
- Lock the parallel fence in the
required position with the finger
screws;
- Adjust the required cutting width
in centimeters by putting the
corresponding value on the scale
with the laser on the base plate;
- Tighten the finger screws
with your finger.
CUTS STARTING INSIDE
THE WORKPIECE
- If the cut does not start from
the edge of the workpiece, or from
a drilled hole, the blade must be run
down through the workpiece:
1 - Place the tool with the round
front edge of the base plate against
the workpiece;
2 - Start the tool and slowly lower
the blade until it engages with the
workpiece. Do not force the tool;
3 - Pull up the blade up through the
hole when it has gone throught the
workplace;
4 - Switch off the tool and wait until
the blade has completely stopped.
Place the blade in the hole, start the
tool and start sawing;
5 - You can also drill a hole,
sufficiently large for the blade,
where the cut is to start.
Follow the sawing instructions.
MAINTENANCE
AND STORAGE
- Unplug the power cord before
cleaning and/or maintenance.
Do not expose the electrical parts
of tool to water or any other liquid;
- Follow the maintenance
instructions to ensure correct
functionality;
- Keep the bottom plate clean for
best sawing precision;
- Keep the outside of the tool clean
to avoid wear and interference;
- Keep the ventilation openings
on the tool clean to prevent the
motor over heating;
- The noise level increases when the
carbon brushes are worn.
The tool has a function which
stops it automatically if the carbon
brushes are worn.
When the carbon brushes have been
worn to a certain level.
This therefore stops the motor;
- Store the machine in a dry place,
out reach of children.
