INSTALLATION AND OPERATION MANUAL
DRY CONTACT FUNCTION (Optional Part)
A. How to connect the "Connecting Cord (SPX-WDC4)".
This product is a connecting cord to connect a Dry Contact Unit to the PCB of the room air conditioner indoor
unit. Beside this booklet, in order to perform an installation job, please refer to Installation Manual for each air
conditioner. Do make sure items listed below are included in the packaging box.
<Included Item>
CAUTION : PLEASE STOP THE OPERATION OF AIR CONDITIONER AND OFF THE BREAKER BEFORE
PERFORMING AN INSTALLATION JOB.
<Working Instruction>
1. Open the Front Cover and Electrical Cover. (refer Note 1)
2. Connect the c[Connecting Cord (SPX-WDC4)] to connector CN7A/CN7B of indoor main PCB.
3. Join the cord from Dry Contact Cord to c [Connecting Cord (SPX-WDC4)] by using the d[Contact with sleeve]
provided.
4. Set the dip switch SW501 of indoor main PCB to enable the DRY CONTACT function. (refer to Note 2)
5. Be careful not to clamp any wire when assemble back the Electrical Cover.
6. Assemble back the Front Cover and do an operation check after Dry Contact has been connected.
Note :
1. Refer Installation Manual for each indoor air conditioner on how to remove and assemble back the Front Cover.
2. Detail setting of dip switch SW501 as mention in portion B Table 1.

Wire for this Connecting Cord have no
polarity, any wire joint is acceptable.
