The aim of the installation is to provide a quiet and
35
easy to maintain product with good flow and high
pressure. This can be achieved with the following
1,2
guidelines:
0,680
- Mount the installation on a flat and accessible
surface for cleaning the strainer and servicing the
165 x 100 x 60
pump.
- Use a high pressure hose on the inlet and outlet
of the pump. The pump ports and strainer must not
be connected to a rigid hose. Otherwise the normal
movement of the pump will be transmitted through a
rigid hose causing noise and possibly loosening or
cracking components.
- The pump should ideally be used with a 400 micron
(40 mesh) pre-filter.
- Use a hose with a minimum of 9 mm (3/8 inch)
inside diameter. A smaller hose size may result in
high back pressure, low flow and noise.
- The pump is designed for intermittent service only.
Coupling to a timer is recommended.
- Do not use this pump to operate a reverse osmosis
filtration system. Continuous use at high pressure
will shorten the life of the pump and is not covered
by the warranty.
- If an extension cable is used, keep only the original
section.
- The electrical circuit must be protected by a
minimum 10A circuit breaker.
- Do not reduce the inlet and outlet diameters.
This includes small inside diameter shut-off valves,
winterizing valves and elbows.
- For potable water only
- Residential installation in private homes. Cannot be
used in a public facility.
During the entire process of installation, the
device must not be connected to the
electrical mains.
The pump should be installed in a dry place
with an ambient temperature not to exceed
40 °C and not to fall below 5 °C. The pump
When installing the device, please make
sure that the motor is sufficiently ventilated.
