ATTACH and TIGHTEN the bottle or
attach milk storage bag.

The tubing should still be
CONNECTED to the adapter cap(s)
and tubing adapter.
If you have taken these apart, attach
tubing to adapter cap(s) and the tubing
to the tubing adapter.

6. INSPECTING BEFORE PUMPING

IMPORTANT: Before using the Ameda Pearl Electric Breast Pump and HygieniKit™ system, visually

inspect the individual components for cracks, chips, tears, discoloration or deterioration. In the event
that damage to the device or kit is observed, please discontinue use until the parts have been replaced.

INSERT the diaphragm into the
top of the flange.
It is important that the inside of the
diaphragm is completely DRY to avoid
moisture from forming in the tubing.

ATTACH the adapter cap(s) by
pressing it onto the top of the
flange(s) until you hear a pop.
