Cause
The power tool does not switch on:
• The power cord is unplugged or there is an electrical
breakdown;
• The extension cord is too long or the cross-section of
the wire is too thin;
• The supply voltage is too low;
• Motor overheating;
Excessive vibrations:
• Loose bolts or parts;
• The blade is installed incorrectly;
• The workpiece dimensions are larger than the
appliance cutting capacity;
The blade vibrates or slips during operation:
• The blade is not properly secured;
The cutting depth is below the set depth:
• There is sawdust accumulated under the base plate;
Burns on the cut workpiece:
• The blade is damaged;
• The circular saw is being pushed too fast;
Poor cutting performance:
• The blade is damaged or dirty;
• The blade is not the appropriate for the intended task;
• The saw blade is installed incorrectly;
The blade does not cut straight:
• The blade is not sharp;
• The blade is installed incorrectly;
• The circular saw is not being guided properly;
Solution
• Check the plug, socket and circuit breaker;
• Remove or replace the extension cord;
Plug the power cord directly into the socket;
• Check that the supply voltage is appropriate;
• Let the power tool cool for 2 minutes and then switch it
back on;
• Tighten the bolts and secure the loose parts;
• Install the blade correctly;
• Choose workpieces according to the cutting capacity of
the appliance;
• Tighten the bolt;
• Clean the base plate;
• Replace the blade;
• Reduce the speed when pushing the circular saw;
• Clean and replace the blade;
• Replace the blade by the correct one;
• Check that the blade is installed correctly;
• Install a sharp blade on the circular saw;
• Check that the blade is installed correctly;
• Use the parallel guide;
