6 Replacing the Communication Assembly

• Ensure that no voltage is present between L 1 and N.
• Ensure that no voltage is present between L1 and the
equipment grounding conductor.
• Ensure that no voltage is present between L 2 and N.
• Ensure that no voltage is present between L2 and the
equipment grounding conductor.

Dismantling the defective communication assembly

1. Disconnect the inverter and, if necessary, the power supply of the installed communication modules from voltage
sources (see Section 5, page 10).
2. Disconnect the communication assembly from the inverter. To do
this, unlock the ribbon cable on the communication module and
disconnect the ribbon cable and the connectors of the optional
modules.
