4 Removing the Communication Assembly

Additionally required equipment:
☐ 2-pole voltage detector that does not have its own voltage source
Procedure:
1. Disconnect the inverter from voltage sources (at www.SMA-Solar.com).
2. Make a note of the position of the DC field plugs.
3. Unlock the DC field plugs and remove them.
4. Remove the enclosure lid from the DC-Connection Unit (TX25) by pulling it towards the front.
5. Discharge the DC Connection Unit at the contact points using a voltage detector without
intrinsic voltage source: Ensure that the residual voltage is less than 5 V.
