14. Always lead the power supply cord away from the tool towards the rear.
15. Do not smear the tool base carelessly with thinner, gasoline, oil or the like.

INSTALLING OR REMOVING THE TRIMMER BIT
Caution:
Do not tighten the collet nut without inserting a bit, or the collet cone will
break.
Depress the spindle lock, and use the spanner to tighten or release the bit.
Ensure the bit rotates freely once fit and spindle lock is released.

1. Loose the lock lever, place the cut-

the workpiece. Record the "A" data
at the time. Read just the tool body
until the desired depth of cut is ob-
tained and the scale data is "A + need
depth", finally rotate the cutting cage

and tighten lock lever.
